Every year in January, the RSPB holds its Big Garden Birdwatch where the public are encouraged to count the number of birds in their gardens or parks for one hour and feed the information back.
With over half a million people now regularly taking part, coupled with almost 40 years worth of data, Big Garden Birdwatch allows the RSPB to monitor trends and helps them to understand how birds are doing. Take a look at the 2018 results here.
Come and join Highbury Park Friends to count the birds in Highbury Park on the 26th January. Please meet in the car park at 10.30am. Everyone is welcome. Please wear suitable footwear for walking over uneven ground. Free of charge.
