Birmingham District Theatre Guild are joining Chamberlain Highbury Trust for a day of Drama Workshops.
Award winning playwrights, actors, directors and stage combat teachers will lead a day of workshops at Highbury.
Focussing on introducing people aged 10 -18 to skills and techniques that lay the foundations of quality theatre.
Birmingham District Theatre Guild have been hosting drama festivals for 95 years – brining groups from the midlands together to celebrate theatre.
The 48 young people will work in 4 groups and take part in 4 different workshops through out the day.
Members are asked
– to bring a packed lunch
– to pay £5 for their place to secure their place and fund drinks and healthy snacks through out the day
– wear comfy clothes
– return the registration form (emailed in advance) on arrival (you can not stay without this)
– to listen carefully to the instructors and stay safeWe are happy to speak to parents/guardians before the day to ensure we cater to your needs and you feel prepared for the day.
All the tutors are DBS checked and trained adults, used to working with a broad range of young people.
