The Grimmitt Trust Supports CHT’s Restoration Project

The Chamberlain Highbury Trust would like to thank the Grimmitt Trust for their generous grant of £3,000 towards the general purposes of the Development Phase of our restoration project.

This Birmingham-based trust has been a good friend to CHT for many years and all the trustees welcome the support it has given over the years. The Grimmitt Trust makes grants to charitable causes within the scope of its own Trust Deed to encourage and strengthen community activities in Birmingham, Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton postcode areas.

CHT Chair David Kidney says the new grant will be put to good use:

“We are currently in a very intense period of activity in the development phase of our Highbury restoration project. We very much appreciate this grant from the Grimmitt Trust at a time when we need as much support as we can muster. I thank the Trust for its generosity and assure everyone that the money will be put to good use. We are currently engaging with our stakeholders about the development of our restoration plans and we will have more news about this shortly.”
