Returning to Highbury in 2022 we are really thrilled that the festival will be bigger and come all the way up and in to the Highbury Mansion this year.
Action for Refugees is a network of local community groups who are committed to supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
Kings Heath Action for Refugees are not-for-profit charitable organisations working with local individuals, groups and schools to help refugees. We deliver a range of community fundraising events, and promote awareness, befriending, support and solidarity for refugees and asylum seekers living in Birmingham and the Black Country and those seeking safe passage across Europe.
This years festival celebrates ‘ We are Birds of one Sky’ a movement celebrating waves of migration to Birmingham and shares the joy that can be found in a city of diverse people. Welcoming, befriending and embracing people from all over the world particularly those escaping war, famine and prjudice.
The festival will be a joyful day of workshops, food, entertainments, arts and learning opportunities.
