Following a development grant from National Lottery Heritage Fund and starting the next phase of Chamberlain Highbury Trusts restoration project, we are now in a position to appoint freelance and project staff. Please take a look at our current vacancies.

Lucy Bailey-Wright – Activities Planner

With a background in theatre, youth work, events management and story telling. Lucy came to work for CHT in 2019. Lucy leads our programme of tours, partnership events, festivals, education programme and activities.

Alan Bale from Sustainable Life – CHT Volunteer Co-ordinator

Alan began his career as a gardener, and spent some years as a tree surgeon, but for the last ten years he has been working with volunteers, mostly outdoors.  He has been with the Trust for eighteen months, leading the volunteers to victory as they reshape and restore the beautiful gardens of Highbury.

Rose Lawrence – Trust Administrator

Rose joined the Chamberlain Highbury Trust (CHT) in March 2022 as their Trust Administrator. In her role, she assists with the administrative running of the Trust including helping with meetings, newsletters, and the website. Rose is a recent graduate with a keen interest in heritage and historic buildings, and works for CHT alongside her other administrative roles at Birmingham St Philips Cathedral and the Historically Informed Summer School (HISS). 

Katie Norgrove – Project Manager

Katie Norgrove is CHT’s joint project manager for the development stage of its major project. She has extensive experience as a consultant in the heritage sector as a founder of Cultural Consulting Network. She grew up in Kings Heath and was many moons ago Birmingham’s Heritage Development Officer.
